Hive Market
The Hive Market, our school food center, offers free supplemental groceries — including both perishable and nonperishable items — through partnerships with the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, Binghamton University Community Schools and Good Neighbors.

Harpursville CSD is a United Way Hygiene Hub Partner, allowing us to provide students, their families and staff with the “Big Six” hygiene products: shampoo, bar soap, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste and body wash.
Through the generous donations of our community, the Hive Market also houses a clothing closet, providing clothing items to students who may be in need.

-
The Hive Market is open on Thursdays from 3 – 5 p.m. when school is in session.
At certain times we may offer special hours, including during the summer. Any additional hours will be communicated via the ParentSquare app and the district social media.
-
The Hive Market school food center, clothing closet and hygiene hub are available to all students attending the Harpursville Central School District, the family members in their household and HCS staff members.

Additional meal ideas can be found by visiting our partner, Food Bank of the Southern Tier: Health and Nutrition. Here, you will find meal ideas and recipes, many of which can be prepared using items found in the Hive Market.
Jr./Sr. High School students are invited to sign up for our after-school enrichment cooking program.
During each session, students use ingredients from the Hive Market to follow a selected recipe, prepare a full meal and enjoy it together.
At the end of the class, every student takes home a box of all the ingredients used, along with the recipe, so they can recreate the meal and cook for their families.
Interested students can sign up each week with Mrs. Harrington.
